OUTSIDE SALES REP
In this role the individual will be responsible for:
• Generating specifications within the architectural and design community
• Developing strong client relationships within the architectural and design community
• Developing strong product knowledge so as to assist clients with the best porcelain tile solutions for their projects
• Seek out and develop new business including national account business within the assigned territory
• Following up with specified projects to secure the sale Development of Sales Strategy based on year goals
• Close big business from beginning to the closing of the sale
Duties include: Helping customers with design and layout of new projects and selection of material Working with contractors and designers to help keep projects on time Labeling and stocking of new samples Light warehouse duty including lifting and sorting of samples Experience with tile, stone, and design is helpful. Experience with interior design and/or home improvement is also a major plus. Some computer experience/office software experience is needed.
Requirements:
• Experience working with the architectural and design community for a minimum of two years
• A strong sales aptitude
