Beautiful Westside office with state-of-the-art facilities and resources, friendly atmosphere, with multi-cultural / multi-lingual staff, we are currently looking for long-term growth/career minded individuals. Overview: The International Assistant Sales Manager will work closely with our International Sales Manager to oversee more than 10 employees in the sales department. Responsibilities: - Assist with Policy, Procedure, and Human Resources of the sales team which includes, but is not limited to: issues between team members, performance improvement plans, write ups, documentation, sales suggestions/complaints, employee reviews, accountability, PTO, etc. Will assist with recruiting and interviewing new candidates - The IASM will assist Admin/HR department on new programs, company initiatives based on employee feedback, and assist in developing appropriate incentive plans. - The IASM will assist in being a morale coach to the team, assist in implementing the ATI vision and assist in ensuring that everyone is "on board" with all things ATI. - The IASM will be required to assist in managing and holding sales department accountable for sales performance including trade events (execution and performance). - Responsible for assisting in evaluating KPI's with employees and assist in reviewing their performance - The IASM will assist in creating a training program, training timeline, holding trainees accountable; also assist in implementing ongoing education of existing staff. The IASM will assist in validating that each new employee is ready and capable of handling sales opportunities. All new employees must be certified in several different categories and milestones of training. - Assist in reaching out to new customers and ensure they had a great experience with us on their preliminary order(s), follow up on how the items are doing and improve the relationship as well as sales in the market. - Assist in reaching out to existing customers who take new items and check on the status of the new items and how they are doing and what can be done, check for customer satisfaction and get feedback. - Assist in reaching out to all existing customers and identify new opportunities. Will assist in passing new opportunities to the International Accounts Manager (IAM) for proper delegation to the sales team. - Assist in checking for customer satisfaction and assist in obtaining feedback from a management level. - IASM will assist in holding the team accountable for execution of Trade Events and Post Trade Event follow up. - Offer suggestions on how we can improve our existing processes and implementation of approved improvements -- Assist in managing and evaluating existing manufacturers Desired Skills and Experience: - Bachelor's Degree - 3 years of sales experience - 4 years of proven management experience - Proven experience training and motivating employees - Passion for International Trade and Global Affairs - Foreign Language(s) preferred - Fluent in English both verbal and written Preferred Requirements: - 5+ years of sales management experience - Sales experience in the food and beverage industry and/or International Sales - Tri-Lingual Candidate must: - Be a mature individual with Confidence and Focus - Dependable, Accountable, and Responsible - Be able to take, as well as give, direction to best manage projects and others and identify when to step in during critical moments - Be Forward Thinking and able to issue spot the needs of the overall sales department and senior management. -- "Gets the Big Picture" - Be able to Self-Motivate, be Highly Organized, and an effective communicator - Have a positive and personable demeanor while multi-tasking and working with time sensitive processes - Have excellent organization and verbal communication skills - Able to Follow-Up / Follow Through without having to be reminded - Have working knowledge in MS Office, Windows, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Photoshop An advantage will be given to candidates who: - Possess high degree of proficiency in SAP - Speak multiple foreign languages WAGE / SALARY: Depends On Experience COMPANY BENEFITS: ***Health Insurance ***Dental Insurance ***Vision Insurance ***Travel Insurance ***Life Insurance Please feel free to visit our web site at: www.american-trading.com learn more about us.
