Due to continued expansion the company is seeking to employ a full time fully qualified and experienced Quality Controller (QC) within the medical device industry. The technician should be a specialist QC, with specialisation in medical devices. Responsibilities:
• Perform final release and production label review of products
• Conduct quality patrols in the production
• Supplier contact and management
• Perform QMS training to new employees and maintain training records
• Creating test protocols, reports, and work instructions as required
• Assist in Non-conformance investigation and implementation of corrective actions as required
• Perform sampling inspection of parts as required
• Assisting in records management
• Assisting in quality improvement activities as required
Requirements:
• Main experience with ISO 9001/13485 environment
• Engineering, or technical/scientific discipline required
• Medical Device industry or life sciences organization background
• Experience in GMP environment & CLIA
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytic, managerial, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail in composing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, scheduling and meeting deadlines.
• Must be able to work with full range of equipment including state of the art testing, CNC machining, CMM measuring and class 7 clean rooms/ ETO chamber is a plus
This position is responsible for Quality Control within this medical device manufacturer.
