Description OffshoreReviews.com has created the first online review website for the offshore banking & financial industry. For the first time ever, clients interested in setting up international subsidiaries and accounts will have a means by which to evaluate a business they are interested in patronizing. And, businesses in the offshore industry will be able to in effect give out client references (reviews) – something that has not been possible until now – and separate themselves from their competitors by consistently receiving good reviews. At present there are more than 3500 companies listed on the website. These companies include six business categories and span more than 30 countries in the Caribbean, North and South America, Europe and the Middle East, Asia and the South Pacific. OffshoreReviews.com is hiring a salesperson to contact businesses listed on our website, which we refer to as “providers”, and persuade those providers to sign up for premium services. As a premium provider, providers are able to list their contact details on the website, put our badge/logo on their website and in their emails, receive leads directly from interested parties and many other benefits. The salesperson will be responsible for contacting, via phone and email, businesses listed on the website and converting them from free to premium providers. Premium providers pay a monthly fee and the salesperson will learn 25% of that fee for as long as the business makes payments. This is the same type of compensation structure as insurance sales. www.OffshoreReviews.com is based in Panama City, Panama. However, the physical location of the salesperson doesn’t matter. The salesperson will be contacting businesses via phone and email. Training will be done remotely and we will provide a business phone system, cover all phone related costs, etc. Qualifications The candidate: This job will be ideal for an expat living in the Caribbean or Central and South America. Must possess determination & endurance and the ability to continue even after being told “no” many times. Must have experience selling by phone. Must have a computer and internet access. Will be working primarily on the phone, so a SILENT background is a requirement, no exceptions. Working hours will be 10 AM to 5PM Central time, Monday through Friday. Must be fluent in English. Must be computer literate and able to carry out internet research. Must have the ability to effectively communicate ideas and to be able to persuade business owners and executives via email and over the phone. Must be professional, poised, and confident on the phone. Must be responsible, have outstanding organizational skills and be able to work independently. Must be able to express himself or herself clearly, coherently and effectively in writing (following up via email will be a substantial part of the position). Compensation All phone expenses (phone equipment, monthly plan, international calls, etc.) will be covered. Employee will also be reimbursed $50/month for internet expenses. $1000 per month salary until commission level exceeds $1000 per month. When commission exceeds $1000 per month, then compensation will be 100% commission based. Commissions: 25% of monthly premium provider payments made by providers (for example if a business pays $100 per month, the salesperson will earn $25 per month. If a business pays $200 per month, the commission to the salesperson will be $50). When a business becomes a premium provider, the salesperson will be compensated each month that the business continues its membership. For example, if a business makes payments for 36 months, the salesperson will receive 25% of its monthly payments for each of the 36 months. This compensation structure is very similar to the insurance sales – the salesperson receives a commission each and every month that a client makes a payment. Examples: The below examples assume that all premium providers will only sign up for the lowest monthly rate of $100 per month. 1. The salesman closes 15 paying providers per month (3-4 per work week). After 3 months, the commission will be $1125 per month. $2250 per month after 6 months $4500 per month after 12 months 2. The salesman closes 20 paying providers per month (1 per work day). After 3 months, the commission will be $1500 per month $3000 per month after 6 months $6000 per month after 12 months.
