• Conduct analysis of selected value chains with regard to opportunities and issues
• Prepare analytical notes on selected agricultural topics
• Identify opportunities to strengthen selected value chains
• Initiate and build partnerships between value chain actors and FASA
• Contribute to the development and launch of value chain financing schemes
Requirements
• University degree in Finance and/or Banking;
• At least 5 years of experience in banks or microfinance institutions;
• Practical working experience in the Armenian agricultural and food processing sectors, specifically in grapes, fruits, vegetable sectors (dairy is an advantage)
• Knowledge of and experience in financing agriculture and SME is an advantage
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Experience in building business partnerships
• Well-developed network of contacts in the agricultural sector and among food processing plants supplied by local inputs
We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive, and result oriented professional. This position provides an opportunity for qualified candidates to move into a consulting role over time.
