ASSIGNMENT
We want you to research how TRNDlabs can implement in-house product development. You will get all the freedom to trial and error, experiment, etc. Although, make sure that by the end of your internship our in-house product development is up and running! And… our next drone should be designed and prototyped by you!
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
You will be responsible for implementing a process that enables TRNDlabs to do in-house design and prototyping of new products. Additionally we want you to design and prototype our next product. This includes:
General research on how TRNDlabs can implement in-house product development
Research 3D modeling technologies
Research prototyping technologies such as 3D printing
Make cost analyzes on all steps of the process
Communicate with our manufacturing partners
Work with the team on the development of new and existing products
Additionally there is room for your own interpretation, so what else would you like to do or learn?
WHO ARE YOU?
You’re proactive, take initiatives and are comfortable working independently
You focus on results and find creative ways to obtain them
You’re very ambitious and love to think about innovative and new solutions.
Have a flexible schedule and a willingness to work non-traditional hours
9 to 5 mentality? You hate it. You work as long as you need to obtain your goals.
You need freedom, but you use it to obtain goals.
Your study is in industrial (product) design, mechanical engineering or similar to that
You have affinity with product development, startups and doing online business
You have excellent writing and communication skills
Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Any other language is a plus.

We want you to research how TRNDlabs can implement in-house product development. You will get all the freedom to trial and error, experiment, etc. Although, make sure that by the end of your internship our in-house product development is up and running! And… our next drone should be designed and prototyped by you!
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
You will be responsible for implementing a process that enables TRNDlabs to do in-house design and prototyping of new products. Additionally we want you to design and prototype our next product. This includes:
General research on how TRNDlabs can implement in-house product development
Research 3D modeling technologies
Research prototyping technologies such as 3D printing
Make cost analyzes on all steps of the process
Communicate with our manufacturing partners
Work with the team on the development of new and existing products
Additionally there is room for your own interpretation, so what else would you like to do or learn?

You’re proactive, take initiatives and are comfortable working independently
You focus on results and find creative ways to obtain them
You’re very ambitious and love to think about innovative and new solutions.
Have a flexible schedule and a willingness to work non-traditional hours
