The Programme’s coordinating office now operates from Accra, Ghana, where it is registered as an NGO. The Accra office serves as the main base for COHRE programmes in Africa.
In Ghana, COHRE is actively involved in projects covering the following focus areas:
• Policy advocacy, on a regional level;
• Research;
• Networking;
• Information.
Available Positions:
* Lawyers
A lawyer with an interest in human rights is required to assist with policy advocacy and educating people, especially women, on their housing rights.
* Women’s Rights Project Assistant
A project assistant is required to support the Women’s Land Link Program, by helping improve women’s access to, control over and ownership of land and housing.
* Project Assistant
A project assistant is needed to support media advocacy programs, help coordinate training courses and develop publications for community education.
